My Next Endeavor!

One of my favorite series that I've finished recently has been
Mobile Suit Gundam 00

Mobile Suit Gundam 00: A wakening of the Trailblazer

A lot of people would say their favorite character is Setsuna F. Seiei, and the older generation may make the connection between his personality, with that of Heero Yuy of Gundam Wing. However, my favorite character would have to be Allelujah Haptism. He's like the Trowa of the group, except with some crazy homicidal alternate personality. (Now imagine if Trowa Barton had a homicidal maniac inside him, that whenever its active, his HeavyArms puts on that half clown mask? Epic)

And who could forget the romance between Allelujah and Marie Parfacy?

It is that inspiration that led me to purchase the HG Arios and HG GN Archer
I finally was able to convince my girlfriend to try out this hobby of mine. She loves art, and building things like Legos, but she hasn't really had any interest in Gunpla. However, she offered to try it out finally!

Why Arios and Archer? Man, I'll let you figure that out by yourself.

I ordered these two kits from Gundam Planet
I would say that I have some sort of a brand loyalty to GP. I've never had any problems with them, and they've been very good to me. They're one of the only bigger Gunpla stores on the East Coast.
We plan to build over this next weekend, and I'm looking forward to a fun time. I'm glad she is willing to get involved with one of my interests.

This little corner of my closet shelf has my current backlog, give or take a few kits that I've ordered and have not arrived yet. A lot of these will be warm weather projects, because of the paint. I don't plan on starting my painted builds until at least April.

Finally, after this past week of GBF... if they made an HG Gundam Fenice Rinascita, I would throw so much money at it... even more so for the Master Grade. THAT THING IS HAWT

I can't wait to see the Arios/Archer builds! See if she'd contribute to the blog with her first impressions of the hobby!
